The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Prince William County Chapter was installed as a chapter on November 17, 2012. Dr. Alice H. Howard, Organizer, presented a letter to the National Board seeking approval to begin the process of organizing a chapter in Prince William County on January 28, 2012. Seventeen professional women demonstrated an interest in establishing the first NCBW-PWCC chapter. Eighty-one perspective members applied, and 71 members were approved for membership.
The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization whose mission is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.
The Vision of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. is to see black women and girls live in a world where socio-economic inequity does not exist.

NCBW’s Core Values are:
Sharon J. Stone is a highly respected public servant and a committed advocacy community leader. She is mission driven and a proven leader. Sharon is a Certified Defense Financial Manager with the Department of Defense with over 40 years of civilian service. She received the Meritorious Service Award Civilian Service for her tremendous, dedicated service as a Senior Financial Analyst and Performance Planning Program Manager. She develops, implements, evaluates, and continuously evolves an annual strategic planning program. These programs integrate healthcare clinical and business operations in a standard process. She is also the recipient of the Spirit of Service Award from the Department of Defense for Public and Community Service. Additionally, she is the recipient of numerous awards at the local level. Lastly, Sharon is currently enrolled into the Sorensen Political Leaders Program.
